There are binaries [runnable applications] for Mac (universal),
Windows, Linux and BSD.
I'm assuming that all the binaries (mac
excluded) are compiled for the x86 architecture. No worries tho...
like I said, it's open source so if you have a SPARC machine or you're feeling adventurous, you can try port it to Solaris, Irix or even Plan 9 if you're really a geek.
Oh yeah, it's skinnable and has loads of neat plugins too so you can
add functions that the standalone program might not deliver to you.
¿no habla engles? aMSN supports over 40 languages to boot! \o/ yay!
Note: I've tested this program on a 500Mhz. G3 iMac and it runs slowly.

I thought it was a bit naf when I first tryed this client a while back to be honest, but never one to put a good bit of freeware or Open Source down I thought I should retry it now its been updated.. and OK.. Its ALOT better :)
The interfaces have been improved and it just feels better. Im sorry I doubted this program now.. It realy has improved and (as with most Open Source developments) should only keep getting better.
