Description : WOW!!!

well at first I though, its ok, It plays well enough.. just something missing, hmmmm.
Then I banged on some pretty (I turned up the graphics resolution!) 8D

Alien Arena has everything you want from a FPS arena, full multiplayer and mission modes, Variable skill settings, guns, ammo, health.. the lot!

Written with Quake and Unreal Tournament in mind, this game didn't dissapoint me. Its still in development too, so its set to get even better.

Description : A tank battle game for you and your freinds. Collect power up flags and blow your enemy to smitherines in a 3d battlefeild room.
Jump onto or over buildings and collect flags to help you defeat your opponents.. beware though, some flags can hinder you more than help!
The more of you play the bigger your teams become! Great fun! There are plenty of servers available online or create your own.
Thanks to Ekimi for showing me this game.

Name : Tremulous

Link to Tremulous Website : http://www.tremulous.net/

Description : Are you Human or Alien?

Although Ive marked this game FPS its not, its more a FPS / RTS hybrid.. but with the game being mostly arena based It'll stick I think.

WOW! that was my initial thought when I popped into my first game of Tremulous. Its very pretty. (the new compy parts helped I'm sure!)

There's around 100 servers so no shortage of games to join.

You join a team (Human or Alien) and spawn from either tele-nodes or Eggs respectively.

Heres the good bit though, you must protect your base, you'll need it as without those spawn-points your team is doomed.

Your team can of course build more, if you have the resources, or an number of other useful or essential constructions. Winning, therefore is all about destroying the other teams base structures.

If you like your FPS then you have to try this, or you wont know what your missing.

You'd be well advised to check out the manual before you get too into the game as theres some info in there you'll need to help you survive longer and do well. Thankfully its not a big manual for gameplay.

** Highly Recomended **
